{"id":70289,"date":"2019-04-25T16:23:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T15:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hillside.work\/sec\/staging\/prayers-for-sri-lanka\/"},"modified":"2019-04-25T16:23:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-25T15:23:00","slug":"prayers-for-sri-lanka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hillside.work\/sec\/staging\/prayers-for-sri-lanka\/","title":{"rendered":"Prayers for Sri Lanka"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Most Rev Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray, Ross &amp; Caithness and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church calls for prayers for Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the horrific attacks in Sri Lanka and the immediate responses that many of us made both on Social Media and during our Easter sermons and intercessions, I have continued to listen as the death toll has risen and the fear of the local people has been reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe authorities are still not able to say the attacks are over and, as people begin to bury their dead, the fear of simply attending the church is palpable.
