Hadi Heidari

Hadi Heidari is a Senior Lecturer in the James Watt School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow. His Microelectronics Lab consists of 3 postdoctoral researchers and 8 PhD students, conducts pioneering research on microelectronics design and integrated sensors for medical and industrial applications. His research has been funded by major research councils and funding organizations including the European Commission, EPSRC, Royal Society and Scottish Funding Council. He is PI for H2020 MSCA-IF “WiseCure: Wireless Implantable Devices for Neurological Disorders Cure” and the €8.4M H2020 FET-Proactive “Hybrid Enhanced Regenerative Medicine Systems (HERMES)” projects. He is a member of the RSE Young Academy of Scotland (YAS) and a member of the eFutures Steering Group (an EPSRC-funded network representing the UK’s electronics academic community). He is the General Chair of 27th IEEE ICECS 2020. He has been the recipient of a number of awards e.g. 2020 IET JA Lodge Healthcare Technologies and 2019 IEEE Sensors Council Young Professional Awards.
