Jamie is passionate about connecting people and ideas, and in exploring Scotland’s role in the world. As Head of RSA Scotland, he works across a broad range of different topics, which allows him to challenge and explore his own ideas and understanding. Jamie has a particular interest in the idea of a Basic Income – a topic which has shot to the top of the political agenda over the last few years, and which he is engaged with on a global level. He believes Scotland has a role, and a responsibility, to be a positive agent in the world, and he has enjoyed developing links with partners around the world – in particular in helping develop a relationship between the great cities of Glasgow and Pittsburgh, which he is always happy to discuss at length!
