Kieren Egan

|

Kieran is an extremely motivated interdisciplinary scientific researcher bridging the disciplines of public health, digital health, innovations/entrepreneurship through a lens of both academia and industry. His PhD was focused on translational failure in clinical trials and explored why most good ideas that are published do result in societal impacts such as new drugs and innovations.

Kieran’s current role extends this understanding where he co-designs and evaluates innovations for pertinent health issues (for example, dementia). In line with worldwide healthy ageing policies, he wants to see all individuals enjoy a good quality of life, regardless of circumstance. Kieran want our societies to move beyond inequities and for gaps to be addressed through innovations developed with scientific rigour, authentic co-design and strong implementation of science.
