Laura Kelly

Laura Kelly is senior lecturer in the history of health and medicine at the University of Strathclyde. She currently holds a Wellcome Trust research fellowship for a project on the history of contraception in modern Ireland and serves as director of the Centre for the Social History of Health and Healthcare. Her research focuses on the social history of medicine in the nineteenth and twentieth century and she has previously published on the history of women in medicine, medical education and student culture in Ireland.
