Lindsay is currently Head of Global Engagement at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and an experienced policy, public affairs and communications professional with networks across the private, public and third sectors in the UK. She is interested in health and social care, mental health, health inequalities, equity of access to services and animal welfare. Lindsay has a decade of board-level experience as a Non-Executive Director, Charity Trustee, City of Edinburgh Councillor and School Governor and 20+ years of knowledge and contacts built across the UK political spectrum.
Lindsay is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Founder of the Hector Paterson Award for Student Excellence in Exotic Animal Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. She is also an unpaid carer.
