Mohammed is a Medical Doctor and a Public Health Specialist originally from Sudan. Mohammed is active and keen on the issues of community health, accessibility, equity and human rights, and governance of health. Mohammed has three master’s degrees (Dual MPH and MSc in Medicine) from the UK, Poland, France, and Italy, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Kordofan in Sudan.
Mohammed’s previous work with the World Health Organisation and UNICEF in Sudan focused on social change mobilisation and health communication, which fed into his passion for equity, health as a human right, and leadership and governance of health systems. Mohammed has several diplomas in monitoring and evaluation and public health.
Mohammed’s interests outside of academia include travel, hiking and photography.
