Savan is an Ex-Asylum Seeker, currently living in Kilmarnock, Scotland. He works as a journalist and activist, and is also studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He is a project manager at Refugees for Justice and a Research Assitant at the University of Glasgow’s UNESCO Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts programme (RILA). His main research interests are domestic and international refugee policy. In his free time, he enjoys playing keyboard.
