Tom Russ is a Consultant Psychiatrist in NHS Lothian and Network Champion of the NRS Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network. He is Director of the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre and an honorary Clinical Reader in the Division of Psychiatry, Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, both at the University of Edinburgh. He works clinically with people with dementia and spends half his time on research, working on clinical trials and supervising doctoral students covering a broad range of quantitative and qualitative projects. A particular interest of his is the involvement of people with lived experience in research and co-production.
