Zaher is a Reagent Manufacturing Scientist at LumiraDX. He is a pharmacist from Aleppo, Syria where he gained experience in managing pharmaceutical quality control and research and development laboratories. Zaher moved to the UK in 2016 and has been awarded a master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacology and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacology) upon receiving generous scholarships from the University of Aberdeen and the Council for At-Risk Academica (CARA). Zaher is now undertaking supervisory roles at LumiraDX to perform reagents manufacturing adhering to GMP and GLP quality principles applied at Medical Devices sector.
