The subject I have chosen to present to you is the litter crisis. This is one of Scotland’s biggest problems, even before climate change and covid 19 litter was tearing apart Scotland’s beautiful landscapes. Litter is everywhere, being washed up on our beaches and destroying our wildlife. In 2050 it is estimated that there will be more plastic than fish in the seas but I believe that if we come together we can make a difference. The litter crisis is now affecting our day to day lives with every car journey and walk through the park being accompanied by litter itself.

I believe that Scotland as a country can make a difference if we try.
