Fiona Kerr

Fiona is a Research Fellow in Biological & Biomedical Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University. She has a background in pharmacology, neuroscience and functional genomics, gained during her training at the University of Glasgow, Kings College London and University College London.

Her research investigates the molecular pathology of Alzheimer’s disease, with the aim of finding new targets for the development of disease-altering treatments for dementia. Outside the lab she is passionate about improving research environment through support of early career researchers, and raising awareness of brain health through her work as ARUK Scotland Network Centre Co-ordinator and organisation of Community Engagement events.
