Helen is a Senior Lecturer (Chancellor’s Fellow) in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. Her group collaborates with clinicians and life scientists to develop ultrasound techniques for earlier cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment. She also has a keen interest in promoting equality and diversity in Engineering, working with social scientists and other engineers across academia and industry to establish new approaches to these long-standing issues.
