Jamie is currently working on a Fintech startup in Barclays’ Rise Academy, making it easy and financially rewarding for more people to plant trees – to increase carbon sequestration and make voluntary carbon markets more efficient.
Jamie previously worked at Barclays for eight years. First as a Saltire Scholar in New York, and then as a graduate – joining the Marketing & Product Future Leaders Development Programme in Canary Wharf. He worked in a variety of strategic marketing roles across the Group and was promoted to Vice President at 27. Jamie also was an early advisor for Further, an Antler backed Fintech democratising access to venture capital funds for retail investors.
Jamie holds BA Marketing with First Class Honours from the University of Strathclyde, is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
