As an experienced public health researcher, and practitioner, I am committed to promoting human rights and improving the health and wellbeing of vulnerable groups who experience inequalities, stigma and discrimination. I am interested in the links between policy, research and practice and using participatory action research methods. In 2007 I achieved an MSc in Social Science Research from Glasgow University and I’m currently part of a knowledge exchange with New York University through the EU Horizon 2020 funded Citizenship Recovery & Inclusive Society Partnership (CRISP). I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my family and two daughters.
