Where can I buy tickets?

You can get your tickets online at http:///www.edinburghshogmanay.comor by calling0131 623 3033 (Mon – Fri 10 am-6 pm)

Where can I collect my tickets?

All tickets for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2022 will be e-tickets and emailed directly to the email address provided when booking.

I haven’t received my tickets. What should I do?

If you haven’t received your tickets within 48hrs of booking, please email info@assemblyfestival.com with your booking reference and details.

Is there disabled access for your different events?

Yes. At Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, we aim to create an event which is accessible to all. Many of our events are held within the Edinburgh streets and green spaces, but we endeavour to ensure that.

Please contact the Box Office at access@assemblyfestival.com or call 0131 623 3033 to speak to a staff member about your assistance requirements, access and advice on the most suitable event for your needs.

Accessible Viewing Places are limited for the events for patrons with permanent disabilities, so please contact the Box Office to secure at space access@assemblyfestival.com or call 0131 623 3033

Are Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion Tickets available?

If a customer is unable to attend any of the events without the assistance of a Personal Assistant (PA), then we will provide an additional PA Ticket.

Personal Assistant (PA) /Companion tickets are provided on the expectation that they are willing and able to assist you throughout your visit, and in the event of an evacuation, they are your main point of assistance. Crowd management personnel located near the Accessible Viewing Areas will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety.

What items are restricted? / Are there any restricted items?

No glass or sharp objects are allowed into the Street Party arena for health and safety reasons.

No chairs, professional cameras, drugs, weapons, smoke canisters/flares, glass or metal/hard plastic bottles (including perfume/fragrance) or umbrellas.

Please be advised that our stewards will be conducting searches upon entry.

For security reasons, cameras can only be brought into the Street Party and Concert in the Gardens if they can fit into your pocket. Selfie sticks are allowed into any of the events, however, when using selfie sticks, please be considerate of others.

Street Party

Can I bring alcohol into the event?

Alcohol is permitted into the Street Party but only in plastic containers and cans not exceeding 500ml. Maximum 4 per person.

Strictly NO GLASS can be brought into the Street Party.

Please be advised that our stewards will be conducting searches upon entry. Excess alcohol may be confiscated, and you risk being refused entry.

You will find pay bars and food outlets throughout the Street Party. Please drink responsibly.

I have bought a Street Party ticket, can I go to the Concert in the Gardens?

Edinburgh city centre is the Street Party arena, with the west section of Princes Street and its side streets cordoned off for Street Party revellers. The arena is only accessible to Street Party ticket holders.

Concert in the Gardens is a separately ticketed event.

Street Party tickets do not allow access to the Concert in the Gardens or any other festival event.

Where can I find a map of the arena?

This information will be updated closer to the festival time and available on our website for you to view on-phone or print for the event. Maps will also be displayed in the event arena.

Are children allowed into the Street Party?

No person under 12 years old is permitted at the Street Party.

Will there be food and drink available?

Yes! Numerous food outlets and bars throughout the arena offer a wide range of food and drink. Please drink responsibly!

How do I get my LED wristband?

On arrival at the entrance gates to the Street Party, staff will be on-hand to give you your LED Wristband once you are passed security.

Please Note: Xyloband Wristbands are recyclable, and wristbands can be deposited on exiting the event at the end of the night to ensure they can be reconditioned and used at future events.

What should I wear?

This is an all-standing, outdoor event, so we recommend you dress appropriately for the weather conditions with sturdy footwear and waterproof clothing if required. Before heading to the Street Party, please look at the weather forecast and ensure you dress for an outdoor winter event!

Are there cash machines inside the arena?

All event food & drink outlets at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay operate card payment systems. Many of the cash machines located in the arena will be cordoned off during the event for security reasons, so make sure you bring cash with you into the event if you need some.

When do Gates open/close?

The Street Party arena, bars and attractions are open from 8 pm. Entertainment is live from 9 pm until 12.30 am. There is strictly NO ENTRY after 10.30 pm, entry gates may be closed prior to 10.30 pm for safety reasons, and you may be redirected by event stewards to the nearest entrance in those circumstances, which may be some distance away.  Please come early to avoid disappointment.

Concert in the Gardens

Can I bring alcohol into the Concert in the Gardens?

Alcohol CAN NOT be brought into the Concert in the Gardens, and no glass is allowed in the venue. However, you will find pay bars and food outlets throughout the event.

What is the difference between ‘the Gardens’ and ‘the Enclosure’?

This is an all-standing outdoor event. ‘The Enclosure’ is the hard-standing area directly in front of the stage, while ‘the Gardens’ is the grass area that surrounds the enclosure. We recommend sturdy footwear for those selecting garden tickets, as the area is on a grass incline.

When do doors open/close?

The Concert in the Gardens arena, bars and attractions open from 8 pm, and the Concert in the Gardens Stage live from 9 pm until approx. 12.50 am.

Will there be any food or drink available?

Yes! Pay bars and food outlets are found within the Concert in the Gardens arena.

Are children allowed?

Due to the nature of the event, the consert in the garden event is strictly 12+.

No children’s buggies are allowed at the Concert in the Gardens

Anyone under 16 years old must hold a full-price ticket and must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age.

How do I get my LED Wristband?

Concert in the Gardens LED Wristbands will be distributed INSIDE the entrance gates to the Concert in the Gardens concert arena.

Staff will collect these wristbands when exiting the event at the end of the night.

Please note: DO NOT take a Street Party LED Wristband if entering through the main Street Party gates. This wristband will not work inside the Concert in the Gardens event.

I have bought a Concert in the Garden ticket, can I enter the Street Party?

Concert in the Garden main entrance gates are within the Street Party arena, and your Concert in the Gardens ticket will allow you entry into the Street Party. However, once you enter the Concert in the Gardens arena, no pass-outs are permitted. If you leave the Concert in the Gardens to access the Street Party at any time, you will not then be allowed back into the Concert in the Gardens arena.

Please note egress from certain Concert in the Gardens gates may be restricted during busy times. Please ask stewards for advice on the best exit gate, and remember under 12s cannot access the Street Party. King Stables Road/St Cuthbert’s Church entrance is out with the Street Party, but you must have a Concert in the Gardens ticket to gain entry.
