Propers for use with Scottish Liturgy 1982, revised 2022
Scottish Liturgy 1982 was revised in 2022, and General Synod subsequently agreed that older versions of the Liturgy should be deleted from the Schedule to Canon 22. This includes the Scottish Liturgy 1982 with Propers and the Revised Common Lectionary (the ringbound book).
However, the Propers and the Revised Common Lectionary part of that book remain authorised, and have been extracted into this document, available for download here https://hillside.work/sec/staging/wp-content/uploads/Propers-of-the-Church-Year-and-Revised-Common-Lectionary-2006.pdf
The Propers of the Church Year are the parts of the eucharistic liturgy and Daily Offices which vary according to the particular day, season or occasion, such as the collect, readings, and post-communion prayer.
The Scottish Episcopal Church has a number of liturgies in experimental use which form part of the Propers, including Collects and Seasonal Material for use with Scottish Liturgy 1982, revised 2022. However, this downloadable document contains the current authorised Propers, formerly contained within the ring bound ‘Scottish Liturgy 1982 with Propers and Revised Common Lectionary’.
